The owner, Artist and Interior Designer Kerrie Griffin-Rogers, has transformed Wood Farm House into the talking point of magazines Country Homes and Interiors, Ideal Homes and other leading publications.You'll feel a million miles from anywhere, but are only 5 miles away from the award winning wedding venue of Iscoyd Park. Bangor on Dee Racecourse is only a 10 minute drive, as is the must visit for any birdwatcher - Ellesmere. National Trust properties Powis Castle, Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle are a short drive away, as is the Roman City of Chester and historic Shrewsbury. Only a little further and you can be among the biggest and boldest mountains in Wales or England - Snowdonia! The house is set in approximately 150 acres of rolling countryside, up a private road. The rooms are creatively lavished with items from her interior company and her art which you can buy. They have beautiful beams, white bed linen, sumptuous accessories (all available to buy) and are painted in FandB Paint, a must with our owner. She sets a warm friendly atmosphere, attracting guests yearning for a bit of history and indulgence in the world of interiors and art, in a spacious and intimate guest house where everyone is treated like family. You have the wonderful old thirty foot lounge all to yourself, beams everywhere, Wi-Fi and television (should you need!) for the duration of your stay, and a tranquil private garden area.
